English designer/maker, Ophelia Mills, creates beautifully bespoke jewellery collections using British china and Porcelain which is ground by hand and set in solid sterling silver.

Ophelia is passionate about transforming discarded china into beautiful pieces of jewellery and takes inspiration from the Japanese art of Kintsugi and the belief that when something has suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.

‘My vision is to show that each piece of china becomes more beautiful and unique because it has a story to tell and provides an intriguing glimpse into a forgotten past’.

Taking some of the most iconic British china from the last 100 years, amongst her collections you will discover the exquisite white doves found on Blue Willow china, the delicate pink roses found on Royal Albert vintage tea sets through to the vibrantly kitsch patterns of the 1960s and 70s.
